CT LO's

Over here in Duchess World there are some pretty cool LO's. I try not to pick my own because well I don't want to seem self centered, but this CT makes it so easy to find cute LO's so that I don't pick my own. (I was really tempted this week though) I found this one in the Gallery over at Get Digi With It by Ruby. Her LO's are always so pretty and always grab my attention, this one was no different. For this LO she used Buddies:Parker, Falling Leaves Glitters, and Template pack #2 (which is on clearance for only 60 cents! )
The next LO is by Becky. She always finds the cutest ways to scrap her sweet little Nieces.
For her LO she used Mod Turtle (clearance for 80 cents), and Stapler Fun.

Well go leave them some love. They make great LO's so go check out their gallery's while you are there. (Images are linked to their gallery's)

Finally a New Release!

And this one is so gorgeous you definitely don’t want to miss it!!

I saw these 2 really awesome layouts made by my cousin, both of her daughter’s birthday celebration.  So I asked her if I could make a couple templates from those layouts, and she said yes!!!  I was so stoked!  But then I went without internet, and I’ve been so busy getting Get Digi With It running smoothly since the take-over, that I hadn’t had a chance to do them.  Well, finally I buckled down and did it! It only took a speed scrap to encourage it (Thanks Mel!) and I totally love the way they turned out!

So here is the “Celebration Doubles” two-page template pack.  It comes in 3 file types: .psd, .tif, and .png.  The layered file types also come in 24x12 version and 12x12 versions.  You can get it in the store for 40% off right now too!!!

I did this layout with one of these templates the other day.  Boy was it fun to scrap with!  and these photos have been needing a layout for a while now! lol

Ain’t it cute?!  So get to the store and grab this while the gettin’s good at 40% off!

OH AND DON’T FORGET!

The weekly speed scrap is going on tonight at 10pm EST!  This time it is going to be hosted by Vanessa from ViVa Artistry!  We’ve been getting a lot of new participants in our speed scraps so they’re a great way to make new friends, have fun, and get a layout done while you’re at it!  Trust me, you’ll be coming back time and time again!  Check it out in this forum!

see ya later!

Fancy That Friday

It's time again for fancy that Friday :) I don't have much time today so this post is going to be short and sweet :) I chose this adorable layout from RubyMoon over st Scrapdish. She used Maria's 'Twas the Night Before Christmas.

I love the color blocking on this layout and the inked edge on the photo! The tag w/ the title on it simple adorable w/ the ribbon holding everything down.

Happy Thursday!

Wow! Its Thursday again already? Where does the time go? We have been busy around my house with the holidays and now we have a bunch of birthdays to celebrate. We are in the process of buying the house that we are living in and it is going so slowly. Time just seems to fly by faster and faster each day, and I find us staying up later and later each night to try to get all of the things that we want to get done done.

I went browsing over at the GDWI gallery tonight and I found this LO and wanted to share it with all of you.

It was by former CT member Sharyn. I love the kit that she used for this. It's papers are so fun.

One last thing, don't forget the Speed Scrap at GDWI this Saturday night. It is always so much fun and is not to be missed.

Otherwise I'm done :) I got a few presents wrapped today. However I do have to admit. I haven't made Christmas Cards yet!!! Gasp!! I'm trying to decide if its worth it to still bother. Maybe as long as they say Happy New year on them too haha! Well I have to say w/ Christmas coming I've been loving all the layouts I've been seeing w/ 'Twas the Night Before Christmas by Duchess Designs BransGran at Scrapdish had a few adorable layouts in her gallery. I absolutely Love this one!
(linked to the scrapdish gallery for full credits)

The photo is just one of the most precious photos I've ever seen! I love the simplicity of this layout it really lets the photos and the few elements selected shine. I love the circle bling element in the top right corner w/ the brads hanging like christmas balls, such a cute idea!

Gallery Pretties

Hi all, Ellie here with today's post & I'm sooo lucky as I get to admire the awesome pages that are in the Duchess Designs gallery at Get Digi With It! And there are some gorgeous pages in there this week!

First we have 'Flowers I Love' by Mamsen

She used the Secret Garden Add-on Pack & a template from Pack 2. I think the photos are awesome! So bright & colourful - this was an easy page to spot in the gallery!

Next is a page from me! Called 'Brother & Sister'

I thought it was about time I scrapped a page with photos of my two kiddies together for a change. I used the gorgeous 'Falling Leaves' kit which has beautiful colours.

I know you're probably busy getting ready for Christmas & are getting less computer time, so here's the last page I'm spotlighting today by JustPlainBee called 'BooBoo'

I just love the colours of the kit she used called 'Royal Treatment' & is her daughter a cutie or what?! Bee also used a template from Pack 7.

I will be back next Sunday to share our last lot of pages before Christmas! I can't believe it's nearly here & I still have lots to do! Hope you enjoyed reading :)

Fancy That Friday

Hey it's Dani here again w/ Fancy that Friday! It's getting down to the wire and I'm getting excited for Christmas! I went out today and did a bunch of Christmas shopping! I got a bunch done thank goodness, since we are getting down to the wire here! Only 2 weeks left until Christmas! So in the Christmas spirit I chose a Christmas layout for this week! I just love this layout from Cheryl (gonewiththewind) at Get Digi With it. She used a few different products in creating this kit and one of them was 'Twas the Night Before Christmas From Duchess Designs

I love how Cheryl did this layout w/ the elements and photos going diagonally across the page, I love the glitter and bling and the ribbon holding the photo in place is an awesome touch!

Well that's it for me for this week!

First Timer ...

Well hello everyone, Bee here. This is my very first blog post as permanent royalty and I can't wait to share my excitement with you.

I am rookie royalty and I just joined the group December first. I was a guest last month, and have been a fan for a while. I've been scrappin for years now, and I joined the 'digi scrapping' world this time last year due to some intense pressure from my sister rachel. I love it, and I rarely breakout my paper supplies anymore.

This time of year is so festive and family oriented. I just love the winter holidays and I can tell that many of you do as well. Duchess Designs has a great holiday kit out called Twas the Night Before Christmas. The different papers and elements really come together to create a wonderful holiday kit. Many of the CT members have been taking full advantage of this FABULOUS kit and scrapping their family holiday fun.

The first one I want to share with you is Christmas Eve by Hillary. She used Duchess' Stapler Fun as well to create this page. My favorite part is the ribbon strips behind the photo.

The next layout I would like to share is by Amy. Amy did n amazing job on this layout. She used Twas the Night Before Christmas, The matching Glitter fills, and Tearing it Up. These can all be found at the Duchess Designs Shop at GDWI.

And last but not least I want to share a layout by Ellie.

Ellie did a fantastic job creating a simple yet beautiful layout starring her lovely family... and a chicken hat. I love the wrapping ribbon and the layering using the felt tree.

Choosing layouts was so difficult since well, everybodys' work rocks my world. Until next time...keep on scrappin!

Fancy that Friday

Hi it's Dani here and I just joined the CT! So this is my first blog post and I'm super excited to be choosing the layout for Fancy that Friday! Before I get to that I suppose I should tell you a little about myself since I'm new :)

I'm 24 and married and I have a beautiful little boy, Gavin, who just turned 5 in November! I've been scrapping for about 10 years (yeah I started when I was 14 you should see those awful pages! lol). I originally started with paper scrapping. Christmas last year I started digi scrapping! So this Christmas will be my 1 year anniversary!!!

Anyways now time for the layout! I found this layout in the Get Digi With It gallery. It's by Beckie Wallace, it's not featuring any of Maria's products but it's just too cute for words! The image is linked to Beckie's gallery so make sure you leave her some love! I love the soft colors and the layering of the elements. Those little white pom poms are the perfect touch next to the absolutely adorable photos!

Well thats all for me for today! Have a great day everyone :)

What Have The CT Been Up To??

Well looking in the Duchess Designs gallery at GDWI it would seem that we've all been pretty busy!!

Hi all, Ellie here with today's post :) Unlike in the US with Thanksgiving, it's been pretty quiet here in the UK. My little family have all been ill with a yucky bug but thankfully we're all over it now but we've been taking it easy so haven't been up to much. My daughter & I have started making our Christmas decorations though which I'm excited about - I couldn't wait for December to start so we got going a couple of days ago. I think I'm more excited than she is lol (but then she is only 2!)The decs won't be going up just yet though - I'm not that bad...yet ;)

Anyway onto a couple of awesome pages I spotted in the gallery. The first is by Katesmommy05 called 'Family'. She used 'Photo Therapy 2' on her pic in this lo & I think it's given her page just a little something extra.

The next page is by Shabby Shaz called 'Special Friends'. She used the newest kit by Duchess Designs called 'Twas The Night Before Christmas' and also 'Frosted Swirls'. The layering in this page is fantastic!

And finally there's a page by Carey called 'My Little Pumpkin'. Amongst other things she used the Duchess Designs kit 'Happy Haunting'. The way Carey framed her photo caught my eye in the gallery.

Well that's it for today, I'm off to go & make some more Christmas decorations :)
